Practice in profession: Technical engineer, designer, independent development worker.Practice in work with youth: Permanently from 1971, when I did found the Children Club of Electronics and Radio on 3rd Elementary School in Pribram. Our activities was expanded to the Station of Youth Electronicals from 1981. In 1984 our collective product, cybernetic model Robik, obtained the gold medal on the National Exhibition of the Science and Technology Projects of Youth. Since 1987 we expanded to District Club of Science and Technology Activities of Youth. In 1990 I did co-founded Association for Youth, Science and Technology AMAVET, our club were renamed (by suggestion of children) to Q-club. The building of Q-club was construct by my suggestions specially for science and technology activities with youth in free time. This building is used very intenzive for these by Association AMAVET. I am the deputy chairman of the Executive Committee of Association AMAVET, director (manager) of Q-club AMAVET Pribram, editor-in-chief of the Internet weekly Quido Magazine http://www.quido.cz In these pages is the extensive information about my work (in English too).
My activities in Amateur Radio: From 1958 I have been an active, amateur short-wawe listener (OK1-4344). My call sign, which I got in 1976 is OK1DPX. The activity I most frequently worked on was the construction of short-wawe receivers, QRP transmitters and accessories. I spent very little time on the Ham-radio operating.
