In the first part of our family saga you learned about the first copy of a crazy bike. This bike came to light in Pribram and we also call him a bizarre-bike. In its birth certificate it boasts about a name Crazy Bike Mk. 1. All children from the Q-club surrounding and nearly a half of all grammar school pupils in Pribram have already tried it. No accident has happened up to now (if we pass over a bounced knee of the author of this article, which has hurt him for a week). But it serves him right, he doesn’t have to try everything as if he was young!
Few weeks passed since that time and in our crazy bikes-hatch (locksmiths´work-room) many new things happened. First, a mite came to light: without handle-bars, without a drag-chain and with just one wheel, saddle and pedals. You might call it an afterthought, for which there was not material enough. Simply said a one-wheeler – you know it from the circus. Its spiritual (and as well material) father Ondrej might have been inspired by the exhibition in Q-club - The Animals´ Rights. He constructed this one-wheeler as a contribution against the abuse of our four-footed friends.
The one-wheeler got a name Crazy Bike Mk. 2.
It is true, that not many people rode this bicycle. There were many attempts, some dashers managed even one and half meters. But the author and father of this go-cart (Ondrej) can manage now hundreds of meters (from Q-club to Rynecek and back) without interrupting the ride.
Shortly after the one-wheeler the third sibling of this funny family was born. But it is more like a bicycle as we all know it. The long front crotch reminds us of the motor-cycle specials. Crazy Bike Mk. 3 got even an unofficial name. Actually also the older sibling got it. Because of the remarkable similarity with the popular couple from the children’s bedtime stories, they started to be called Staflik and Spagetka. Will you guess who is who? It is easy Mk. 1 is Staflik because it is tall, Mk. 3 is Spagetka because it is rather longer. And do you know how we call the one-wheeler Mk.2? You got it: Mite!

Monika (8) rides Staflik very very fast.

Architect, Mr. Meisner courageously rode to the town-hall and the
castle.

The first Ondrej's attempts to balance in the saddle.

On the other day it was much better.

An interesting cycle-ballet entrées of David and Ondrej in front of
Q-club.

”I can do that even up the hill!”, calls Ondrej.

David Helesic helps Ondrej greatly, all the lathe-work is his job.
Here he is still with long hair, it’s before the summer haircut.
(Or has he had his hair cut just because of the work-safety?)

David's experiments

Oh God, let this child to be healthy, Ondrej prays.

Please notice, that Spagetka has got a change in the footing of the
front wheel.
Mirek Zdarek (16) – head of the young electronics club tries to ride it.

Our editor, Mr. Josef Frys, M. Sc. dashes on the newly painted
Staflik
to the Quido magazine office.
