Our association is active with the project " mobile youth work ". We are contact persons for youth groups, mainly in the rural area. Apart from the handling of topical problems in the youth clubs and centres - we offer supplies to the leisure activities, as for example Sommercamps, an annual open air and different Workshops.

Concrete information to our project:

- point in time: July / August 2001, if possible in the week of the 30.july to 05.august 2001
- place: Weissig in Saxonian Switzerland (next larger city is Dresden)
- users: 10 German and 10 Czech young people
- age: 14 to 18 years
- participants fee: approx. 20, - DM per day and user (in this price everything is contained, which takes place in this week, except the arrival and departure of the Czech compatriots)
- slogan: Become acquainted with both cultures over music, nature experiencing and sport

The exchange is to take place in the context of a camp. In addition we have a large meadow available for us in the area of a youth hostel. We use the toilets and shower rooms of the youth hostel.

The Czech young people do not need to bring along own tents, these are locally available.

The young people prepare themselves the meal. We have in addition a large kitchen tent with gas digesters and grills. We find it meaningful, if the young people that cook themselves, which they would like to eat gladly. Additionally one learns also much when common cooking over the culture of both countries.

It is available a large tent with desks and banks, where the young people can assemble themselves with rains.

In this first exchange the young people of both countries are to approximate each other, diminish prejudices and fears of contact. Around this to enable we selected a framework, where communication is the center of attention over music and nature internal messages. These media help to bridge around language barriers. In following meetings also special topics can be processed. In the summer 2002 a following exchange in the Czech republic can take place.
